NPD CALL ACTIVITY REPORT:
The NPD reminds citizens that tomorrow, Saturday October 22, 2016 is
NATIONAL PRESCRIPTION DRUG TAKE-BACK DAY …This program was established
to provide an environmentally safe way to dispose of Prescription
medications and to keep drugs from being used improperly … The Naugatuck
PD maintains a prescription drug disposal box in the lobby of the PD
and is available to citizens 24 hours a day, 365 days per year …. In
coordination with National Prescription Drug Take-Back day we encourage
our citizens to clear out those unused meds by disposing of them at the
PD this Saturday … please keep in mind that these boxes except almost
all types of unused medications with the EXCEPTION of the following:
Needles or sharp objects and any Liquid medications …. Thank you and we
hope to see you at the PD this weekend!!
